One of the best parts of Christmas are the beautiful light displays. This year we are going to some of the best light displays in and around Ohio. We'll be posting a video in a couple of weeks with our rankings and a sneak peek into each display!1. Clifton Mill - 75 Water St, Clifton, OH 45316
We first saw this display on the tv show The Great Christmas Light Fight on ABC. It won the best Christmas light display on the show and has won recognition nationally for their beautiful display.
2. Columbus Zoo and Aquarium Wildlights - 4850 POWELL RD, POWELL, OH 43065
Zoo's around the nation offer beautiful light displays around Christmas. This year we went to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. The most impressive feature of this display can be found around the pond at the entrance as you gaze in awe at the lights dancing to the music. Wildlights is definitely a great addition to your zoo trip!
3. Franklin Park Conservatory - 1777 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43203
Like Clifton Mill Franklin Park Conservatory has won national recognition for their conservatory glow light display. Currently they are in the running for the Top 10 light displays for USA Today. This light display looks like a truly magical experience and we can't wait to share it with you on our Youtube channel!
4. Christmas Cave - 4007 White Gravel Mcdaniel Rd, Minford, OH 45653
Out of all of the displays we plan on going to this year, this one is the most unique. Here's the description from their website "The Christmas Cave is a self-guided Christmas light display presented uniquely in the beautiful and mysterious passageways of an old underground mine. Our museum-quality displays depict the historical moments surrounding the birth of the Savior."
5. WonderLights Christmas - 2650 National Rd SW, Hebron, OH 43025
I found this one on Facebook and it looked pretty impressive so I was like why not. Let me just say it blew my mind. This drive through light display was the perfect way to kick off the holidays. This was one of the best drive through light displays I've seen. The lights sync with the music on your car radio and my 4 year old loved seeing Elsa and Olaf projected on one of the trees as we sang Let It Go. I can't wait for you all to see a sneak peek in our Youtube video. This is definitely a must see!

6. Christmas at the Castle - 561 Twp Rd # 3352, Loudonville, OH 44842
This is another one I'm pretty excited about. Going to a castle is already pretty cool but a castle decorated with Christmas lights is even better! Landoll's Mohican Castle is a hotel that looks like a castle with a restaurant in a beautiful secluded setting. This would make a romantic date weekend too if you are lucky enough to have a babysitter for the kids!
7. Festival of Lights - 465 Lodge Dr, Wheeling, WV 26003
I saw this light display on tv commercials as a kid and always thought it looked cool. I'm excited to experience this display in West Virginia with my family for the first time. This display is on the Oglebay Resort property and if you are looking for a weekend trip they are offering package deals with your stay!
