Kohl's Cash Hack

Have you ever earned Kohl's cash but when it's time to redeem it you either don't have time to go shopping or can't find anything to buy. Maybe you are like me and completely forgot about it until two hours before it expired. If you don't want to lose out on your Kohl's cash keep reading for a hack I have been using for years.

Last night at 10:00 I realized my Kohl's cash was about to expire as I was looking at my emails in bed. It was late and I was tired but didn't want to miss out on redeeming my Kohl's cash. I also had ordered a ton of clothes to try on that had not yet arrived and knew I'd be returning some of them because most likely not everything would look good. So I went on the app and bought a random pair of shoes that was $3 more than the Kohl's cash I had to redeem.

The clothes I ordered that earned me the Kohl's cash will be delivered by Wednesday. I'll try these on and get my returns together. I'll first return the random shoes and they'll issue the Kohl's cash which usually expires in 30 days I believe. After that I'll then return the clothes that don't fit. For every $50 I return they'll deduct $10 from my Kohl's cash which is fine. Please note if I returned the clothes first they'd deduct the Kohl's cash amount from my return which would be basically the same thing except I would have to use the money at Kohl's instead of it being put back in my account. If I have Kohl's cash left I'm planning on using it during the Labor Day weekend sale. Kohl's usually offers a dollar off coupon and percentage off on this weekend. I'll combine these with my Kohl's cash and Yes2You Rewards cash to score some free or deeply discounted items.
