Freedom Park

A great park for the littles

I'm always looking for places to take my toddler during the day because she is a ball of energy. One of the best things about Columbus is the many beautiful parks we have. Freedom Park is a great park in East Columbus located at the corner of Taylor Rd and Havens Corner Rd. in Pataskala. It is about a 15 minute drive from Gahanna, New Albany and about 20 minutes from Reynoldsburg. This is a small park with a playground, shelter house and huge green open space. I like the playground here because it is small enough my two year old can play with little to no help which makes my life easier as she is entering the I can do everything by myself phase. There is ample parking and it is rarely ever busy as it's off the main drag. If you are looking for a quiet park to take your littles on this side of town I highly recommend this park.
