Fun in the Jungle was worth the 30 minute drive for our little monkeys!

If you have kids you know how much they love to jump and climb on stuff around your house that they aren't suppose to. We have three girls 7, 5 and 2 who are full of energy. When school was out last Friday we knew we had to get our three little monkeys out to do something if I had any hope of keeping the house clean and myself sane. So we choose to visit Fun in the Jungle in Sunbury and I must say I was pleasantly surprised.

Getting There

Fun in the Jungle is about 30 minutes from where we live in Pataskala. We left around 2:00 which is nap time so we had a pretty quiet ride with only a couple "are we there yets". Sunbury is a smaller town for those of you who aren't familiar with it. Our GPS took us to the VFW which is directly in front of it but, we found our way there thanks to the sign they have placed at the head of their drive way as it is kind of hidden.

Our Experience

When we entered the facility it was nice and clean, nothing spectacular. The lady that helped us at the desk was pleasant but, not overly friendly. The cost was around $18 for all three of our girls. They have specials during the week where they offer free and reduced pricing. We didn't eat there but, the food didn't look too bad. I'd say about the same quality as a bowling alley. The real standout was the play area. It was a good size and had lots for kids of all ages to do. There were many unique features like a little train under the main play area and a wave slide that I haven't seen at other indoor play areas. It was super clean! As a germaphobe I usually want to bathe my kids in alcohol when we leave a play place but, the play area was so clean I felt confident we were only taking home our kids not a bunch of germs. There were nice couches for parents to lounge on and free wifi. Our kids played from 2:30-5:30 and surprisingly there were only a few people in there, from 5:00-5:30 we were the only ones in there. This was a bonus to me because most places are so crowded it's hard to keep track of your kids. The restrooms were pretty clean as we took several trips between the kids and my pregnant self. They also have mini bowling, arcade games and a virtual reality area. We didn't use any of these so I can't give a review other than it looked fun. Fun in the Jungle is definitely going on my list of preferred indoor play places. Everyone had a blast!
